Show The Misses Ada and Vera Du-higg, Du-higg, Miss Marie Button, Miss Alice Brown and their guest, Miss Grace Wasem of Ogden, were Saturday dinner guests of the Rev. and Mrs. Meredith Smith of Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. C. Martinez had as week-end guests Miss Martinez's Mar-tinez's mother, Mrs. Inez Marelo of Pocatello, Idaho. ' Mr. and Mrs. Sid Tregaskis Sr. have their grandsons, Richard and Arthur Mullett Jr., of Salt Lake City, visiting them. Barbara and Leslie Gleaves were called home from their vacation va-cation in Sunnyside, Utah, because be-cause of the illness of their mother. moth-er. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Miller and family, former Highland Boy re- sidents, are now making theii home in Midvale. The playground Field Meet held Monday was a success. Outstanding Out-standing participants in each contest were as follows: Individual Individ-ual jumping rope Olga Chanak, first in primary; Josephine Rubal-cava, Rubal-cava, first to fourth grade; Ann Gerbich, first to seventh grade; High jumping: Olga Chanak, primary; pri-mary; Josephine Rubalcava, fourth grade and up; Mary Pazell, senior hgh; Bible drill Tied for first place, Dorothy Chanak, Josephine Rubalcava, Mildred Muhar, Percy Martin; Bella Rubalcava and Dorothy Gerbich, tied for second place. Duchie Tomas will leave September Sep-tember 1 for Los Angeles, where he will attend Woodbury college. He is planning to take a business course. Mrs. Martin Gregorich and Mrs. Joe Gregorich and son, Frank, of Tooele, visited at the Matt Blockovich home Tuesday. Miss Mary Loverich was honored honor-ed at a party Sunday, the occasion occas-ion being -her birthday. Alfred Martin is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Martin. The Questers held their monthly month-ly party Thursday when they met at the Community House. iHighland Boy I Kalherine Valdei i Miss Grace Wasem of Ogden returned home Tuesday after a week's visit at the Community House. Virginia Galvin returned home last week after a three-week vacation va-cation in Pocatello, Idaho. Miss Lily Stokes of Minneapolis, Minne-apolis, Minn., a former nurse at the Community House, was a guest there Sunday. Miss Stokes was en route to San Francisco to attend the national Red Cross convention.
