Show ATHLETIC COUNCIL DECIDES! AWARDS University Men Will Be Presented Pre-sented With Honors on December 12. Friday, December 12, will bo annual "honor day" at tho University of Utah, and on that day all tho men who havo boen fortunate enough to win the "U" for any of the four major sports baseball, base-ball, basketball, track or football will be given their awardu. Tho athlotlc council coun-cil met yesterday afternoon and agreed upon the men who are to got awards and what they should receive Mon who were In baseball, basketball or track last season, sea-son, or In football this year, will be given awards. All tho men in ono branch of athlollcs at Utah university do not get the" Fame awards. All first-year men get red sweaters with a white "U"; second-year men got blankets with tha lotter In tho ralddlo; third-year men get medal fobs, and fourth-year mon get white sweaters with tho red lotter. Additional awards are given on npecial occasions. When a team wins the conference championship In any sport the men on that team aro glvon championship fobs. Last year's baskotball team won tho Rocky Mountain Moun-tain championship, and, accordingly, all tho basketball mon who played in tho majority of games last winter will be presented with tho championship basketball basket-ball fob, Tho men who will bo presented with awards, and the nature of tbe awards as decided by the athletic council yesterday, are as follows.
