Show M. I. A. Regular M. I. A. was held at the L. D. S. Church Tuesday evening. even-ing. Mayor Ed Johnson gave a talk on "Traffic Safety". It is hoped that all citizens will be safety conscious. A St. Patrick's program was presented by the "Greens" of the Mutual, with Mrs. Willard Nichols in charge. The Life of St. Patrick was given by Katherine Madsen, I.a-Wanna I.a-Wanna Harris, Lydia Jenkins, Ethel Richards, Betty Halvorsen, and Vivian Ballamis. A demonstration of the shamrock sham-rock was given by Ernest Sheen, A. G. Woodland, Alice Cunningham Cunning-ham and Faun Jewett. "Where the River Shannon Flows" was sung by Reva Vick-ers, Vick-ers, accompanied by Mrs. Paul Erz. The Bee Hive girls served shamrock cookies. Congregational songs were: "My Wild Irish Rose", "When Irish Eyes are Smiling." Regular class work was held following the program. Geneology Group An evening of fun and entertainment enter-tainment was enjoyed Wednesday Wednes-day evening at the L. D. S. church under direction of members of the geneology committee, which includes Carl Nichols, Mrs. Phoebe Phoe-be Johnson, Mrs. Rita Maukley, Herschel Green, A. G. Woodland. I |
