Show LEADER IS LAUDED FORHISABIUTY Presenting a record of citizenship citizen-ship that is uniformly praiseworthy praise-worthy and a reputation for practical prac-tical accomplishment, Mr. E. E. Monson is entitled to more than ordinary commendation for the manner in which he fills the office of-fice of Secretary of State. Mr. Monson has the essential characteristics of a civic leader. He is honest, of high moral principles, prin-ciples, energetic and sound in his business judgment. The fairness in judging the merits of any public pub-lic enterprise and of weighing its effects upon the rights of the majority are shown on the many occasions when he has contributed contribut-ed to the public welfare by his support of projects which have benefitted the great mass of the people. As a private citizen Mr. E. E. Monson has always been a credit to his' district. He is one of those conscientious, far-sighted men who quietly perform their duties and who always place the rights of the majority before personal advantage. He is particularly qualified to occupy the office he holds both from the standpoint of practical knowledge of its duties, and from the standpoint of loyalty to the fundamental principles of democracy. |
