Sncad, the millionaire Amaiillo banker, who killed Captain A. G. Boycc here, finished his testimony and will not be recalled, lie left the chair unshaken and confident of acquittal. Snead told of the former devotion de-votion and love lie and his wlfo gave each other and of the expense he went to to please hor. He reviewed their early life as he, Boycc and Lena Snyder, his wife, played together as children. He said that last October his wife told him that she wanted to go to South America with young Boyce and take the children- "T was so astounded I could not answer. an-swer. 1 then knew she was Insane." Snead said. Thy prisoner said the direct reason he killed Captain Boycc was to save himself. him-self. "When I entered the Metropolitan hotel," ho-tel," the witness said. "I was paying attention at-tention to no one. Then I saw a man. Captain Boyce. suddenly stnrl toward me from his chair and exclaim: 'Mere comes that low now.' Then I pulled my gun and 11 red to save myself." The state's attorneys fought hard In an effort to make.
