Show WIFE DEAD; HUSBAND FOUND AFTER SEARCH; Efforts to Learn Whereabouts of E. J. Robertson at Last Succeed. Mrs. Robertson Rob-ertson was taken ill Wednesday night and died of heart failure at the Judge Mercv hospital Thursday morning. Messages were sent to various points in Nevada and California, where Mr. Hobertson has business dealings, but Thursday and Friday passed without word from him. It was not until early last evening that J. J, Kinney, a bus-inc?s bus-inc?s associato in the vers Ryan Coal company, learned that Robertson was In Los 'Angeles. It is presumed that by this time the bereaved husband has heard of his wife's death and that he will arrive home tomorrow. Mr. Robertson left Salt Lake Mon day night, intending to go to ranches at ' Overton and Logan, Nov., belonging belong-ing to tho Irrigation Development company, com-pany, of which he is the secretary . lie had also planned to go to Laa Vegas, j and Moapa, Nov.. nnd to Los Angeles. All of these points wore wired without, with-out, success until lust night when Mr. Kinney received the following message from O. W. Jarvis, who lives on one of the ranches o tho Irrigation Development De-velopment company in Nevada: "Word received from Robertson in Los Angeles that he will be here Monday. Mon-day. Ho evidently has not heard of his wifo's death. Am wiring him there " Robertson Is expected in Bait Lake on Monday instead of at tho ranch be cause ho undoubtedly will leave Lua Angoles for this city as soon as possible after getting Jarvfa'c message informing inform-ing him of Mrs. Robertson's death. |
