Show News and Notes of Women's Clubs The current events and current literature litera-ture section of the Ladies' Literary held its final meeting for the year at the club house Friday afternoon. An elaborate and delightful programme was carried out In the nature of an .afternoon with Shakespeare's women. The programme was furnished by the pupils of Mrs. Frank Larson's elocution elocu-tion class, supplemented by a scene from "As You Like 11." siven by Mrs. Larscn. These officers were elected by the section to serve for the coming club year beginning ne:;t fall: Mrs. A. "IT. Parsons, chairman: Mrs. E. D. Stubbing, vice chairman; Mrs. Frank Anderson, secretary; Mrs. Robert Wells Fisher, critic. The P. K. O. Sisterhood will meet this afternoon with Mrs. J. F. Marshall, 2-1 K street. MIhs Amy Eaton will speak on "Eugenics." -M a Miss Inez Kinney, territorial executive secretary of the V. W. C. A., with headquarters head-quarters in Denver. Is visiting the local association. Miss Kinney will speak Sunday night at. the First Methodist church and Sunday afternoon at the Y. W. C. A. vesper services. A reception will be given Monday afternoon at the Y. W. C. A. rooms in Miss Kinney's honor. Miss Kinney Is at the Hotel Utah. |
