The city commission went on record last week as opposing any increase In the number of saloons in operation, declaring that tho 133 bars In operation at present Is a sufficient number for a city of this size. As the district court has the granting grant-ing power in the matter of liquoi license, th commission Instructed Its lesal department de-partment to appear before the district court and contest the R-ranting of further licenses. |
