The fourth day of tho horticultural convention, conven-tion, conducted by experts from the Agricultural Ag-ricultural college, was equally as interesting inter-esting us any of the previous sessions and was well attended by those Interested Inter-ested In the subJeciK discusfed. Prof. C. F. I!roui was the only speaker of tho forenoon session and loolt for his subject. "Irrigation and Drainage." in tho afternoon. Prof. J. T. Caino interested inter-ested tho stockralxors in his discussion of points to be desired In a draft horso. After this address a general inspection of stock took place outside tho high school, where many head of horses and cattle had been brought by local people. peo-ple. Cattle Inspection was undor the direction of Professor Caino. This evening Professor Brown resumed hla lecture on "Irrigation and Drainage." und Prof, W. Mclaughlin discussed "Irrigation "Ir-rigation of Peaches." |
