S. college met in a basketball contest at the old L. D. S. gymnasium yesterday afternoon. tho Saints' second-year team defeating the Indians, -10 to M. after a hard battle. Felt at left forward, for the Saints, played easily the star game, throwing baskets with case from any position on the floor, and it was due almost solely to his tossing that the Indians were de- i feated. Caffcy and Trcscder. for the high school, put up their usually fine game. but wero outweighed by their opponents, j Trcseder'H clever jumping gave his team the advantage at almost cverv toss. , The winners arc champions of the L- ; D. S. classes, while the high school team is tied with the Juniors of that school j for the interchips title. A return game, will probably bo played during the holidays, holi-days, or Immediately after.
