New of. fers wore made by tho company today during a conference, with Eugene IC. Smith, vice prosldont of tho Pacific district dis-trict council of tho International Union of Electrical workers. Smith did not disclose the proposed terms, but said they would bo submitted to the various locals, which extend through five western states and Include about 2500 men. Tho men have twice rejected tho proposals of the company.
