Show TO ESTABLISH PEACE WITH GERMAN NATION Sper Cable to The Tribune XNDON, Ja.ii 37. -As a basis for the campaign for an International and diplomatic diplo-matic under landing with Germany, which tii National Peace council recently ii.it-ated, ii.it-ated, every British hamber of commerce, a large number of commercial organizations, organiza-tions, the trades councils, trade unions, co-operative bodies and political and religious re-ligious organisations of all kinds were addressed ad-dressed by letter last month, invltinp their opinion and support. Replies which, without, exception, are lii favor of the promotion of such an in- l.ematlonal understanding, are now being received from all parts of ihe country by l.he council. A number of Important meetings ave now being arranged. .Many town meetings meet-ings in support of Ajiglo-German friendship friend-ship will probably he held within the next fw months as a result, of the suggestion made to lord mayors and mayors by the lord mayor of London. |
