Show Miss Delia Macke To Become Bride of Donald Buchanan Copperton entertained the couple at a family dinner Friday evening. even-ing. The bride-elect has chosen as matron of honor her aunt, Mrs. Charles T. Zuoral of Chicago, and Miss Edyth Rutledge of Salt Lake City as her maid of honor. Lawrence Lawr-ence L. Hewitt of Pueblo, Colo., will be best man. Following the ceremony Uncouple Un-couple will leave on a wedding trip to San Francisco. A marriage of interest locally will be solemnized at St. Mark's Cathedral by Dean Franklin Gibson Gib-son tomorrow at 11 a. m. when Miss Delhi M. Macke, 273 East South Temple street, Salt Lake City, is to take her vows with Donald A. Buchanan. Miss Macke is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur A. Macke of Copperton mid has many friends here. She is a former student of Westminster college and graduated graduat-ed from Woodbury college, Los Ani'.eles. She is affiliated with Delta Psi Omega. Phi Kappa Gumma and Alpha Iota sororities. Mr. Buchanan is the son of the late William J. Buchanan of Spokane, Wash., and a graduate of the University of Washington at Seattle. He is a field supervisor super-visor for the U. S. Tire and Rubber Rub-ber company. Sunday evening Miss Ruth Prigmorc was hostess to the Stickers club and Miss Macke honored guest at a personal show er and dinner at the Grill cafe, Salt Lake City. A doll dressed as a bride was centerpiece of the table and place cards on miniature minia-ture Christmas trees were marked mark-ed for Miss Macke, Mrs. Helen Spendlove, Mrs. Josephine Johnson, John-son, Miss Helen Loveless, Miss Lenore Richards, Mrs. Beth Nordberg, Miss Alida Thomas, Miss Elnora Steed, Miss Virginia Harris and the hostess. Bridge followed dinner with Mrs. Johnson John-son and Miss Loveless playing high. Co-workers of Miss Macke at the Shell Oil company office gave a shower complimenting her at th'e home of Miss Betty Jensen, 155 South Fourth East street, Salt Lake City, on Tuesday Tues-day evening. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Floyd B. Edwards of 543 South Ninth East, Salt Lake City, gave a buffet dinner in compliment to Miss Macke and Mr. Buchanan. Mr. and Mrs, A. A. Macke of |
