Plalslcd Is being shown by his associates In the railroad rail-road offices and by the Salt Lake City Transportation club In a most pleasing manner. Mr. Plalstcd will leave In about a week to take up his new duties aa assistant as-sistant lo L. J. Spencc. traffic manager for the llarrlman lines, and already two events are planned in his honor to take place before his departure. The members of the SaJt Lake City I Transportation club will give a farewell supper at the Commercial club Tuesday evening. Mr. Plalstcd. of course, will be the guest of honor "Dick" Gray will be there as president of t'ne club. and. sis he Is conceded lo be the logical successor to Mr. Plalstcd, lie also will be required to apeak. K.cellonl music will he provided for tho occasion and. with the pleasant memories of llm club's recent banquet, undoubtedly there will lie n full attendance attend-ance ;it the supper Tuesday evening. In addition to the two men named there will be toasts bv representative men in the railroad world of Salt Lake City. Wednesday evening the officers of the Oregon Short Line will tender Mr. Plalstcd a farewell dinner nt the Alia club Practically Prac-tically all of t'ne Short-Lino ofdelnls will be in attendance at this dinner and clnborato preparations are being made for the occasion.
