Show JUNIOR CHAMBER AWARDS GIVEN SMJMEADERS Based on scholarship and extracurricular extra-curricular activities for the past three years, the junior chamber of commerce awards to the outstanding out-standing senior students at Bingham Bing-ham high school were presented Miss Ethel Richards, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Paul S. Richards, and Frank Nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Nelson of Lark, at a special award assembly Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Besides being valedictorian of her class, Miss Richards' activi- i ties included participation in dra- matics, dancing, school paper, year book, posture parade, stunts and assemblies, typing team, ; girls' athletics, junior prom and ' senior hop committees. An outstanding athlete and a ' members of football, basketball and baseball teams, Frank Nelson Nel-son also won recognition for class, clubs, student body, dramatics, assemblies, school paper staff and dance revue activities. The awards were presented by Leland G. Burress, Jaycee president, presi-dent, on recommendation of E. Odell Peterson, Warren G. All-sop All-sop and Joel P. Jensen, faculty committee and junior chamber members, who made selections after careful study of students' records compiled on a point basis. ba-sis. O |
