Show a garrlen party Wednesday evening even-ing in honor of her cousin, Miss Camille Bourne of Garland, who has been visiting here. Games and refreshments featured entertainment enter-tainment for the following misses: miss-es: Jane McKellar, Marion Pett, Betty Harnett, Mary Brown, Norma Nor-ma Nix, Gwen Parker, Nina Thorn', Joy Ann Jackson and Jena Vee Larsen. Varicolor decorations de-corations made an attractive setting set-ting for the affair. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Barnett and family and Mr. and Mrs. William Atkinson and family enjoyed a .swimming party at Black Rock Tuesday evening. The occasion marked the birthday anniversary of Miss Royce Barnett. Twenty-four guests were entertained en-tertained at a linen shower Saturday Sat-urday evening, when Mrs. William Wil-liam Atkinson and daughter, Miss Harriet, bid them to their home on West Park street, honoring Miss Virginia Colyar a popular bride of August. The supper table ta-ble was prettily arranged with a color scheme of pink and white, favors and place-cards being clever cle-ver little white wedding bells. Progressive games were played, prizes going to Mrs. Ruby Knud-sen Knud-sen first, Miss Virginia Colyar second, Mrs. Roy Barnett third, Mrs. Mark Hansen consolation, Mrs. Arthur Fike house prize. The bride-to-be received many lovely gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Still-man Still-man and sons are vacationing in Montana until August 1. Mr. and Mrs. V. S. Bowlby, prior to visiting visit-ing the Golden Gale Exposition at San Francisco. Mrs. Leila Knudsen of Salt Lake visited with friends in Copperton Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. II. Winfield Clarke and family of Pleasant Grove visited Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Christen-sen Christen-sen and sons attended the funeral fun-eral of Mrs. Alice Pulley, grandmother grand-mother of Mrs. Christensen, at American Fork Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever and family visited with Mrs. Cheever's mother, Mrs. Anderson of Provo Sunday. Mrs. Clarence Watkins honored honor-ed her daughter, Shirley, on her tenth birthday with a lawn party Friday, July 11. Thirty-seven youngsters enjoyed out-of-door games and dainty refreshments. Prizes were won by Bobbie Blake and Shirley Tassainer. A pink and green color scheme was successfully carried out in the favors and the table decoration. Mr. and Mrs. E.
