Next Tuesday evening even-ing there will he a mass meeting in the city council chamber by Ogden citizens to determine the most fitting manner for the celebration of the glorious Fourth. A meeting was called today bv Mavor William Glasmann There arc many of Ordcn's citizens, while not opposed to a "safe and sane" celebration, arc not In favor of depriving the young folks of noise-producing fireworks, as contemplated contem-plated by the movement started a few weeks ago. "I don't want to take away from the kids the very essence of a Fourtli of July celebration as regarded by boys for several generations, because I know how I would have been disappointed if I had been refused permission to celebrate in the good old gunpowder way."
