Show SALT LAKE AD CLUB HOLDS ANNUAL MEETING The members of the Salt Lake Ad club hold their annual election of officers Wednesday evening at the (iiiarlcrs, 310 Hooper block. Before proceeding with the election, an amendment to tho bylaws by-laws was adopted which will facilitate business by making tho respective members mem-bers of the executive board chairmen of the four general committees. Instead of having separate chairmen as heretofore. Iiach man of the executive committee will bo chairman of a general committee, commit-tee, in the order named In the bylaws. T. F. Thomas', of tho Thomas Advertising Advertis-ing agency, was chosen president for tho ensuing year; Ben Davis, of the Davl3 Shoe company, first vice president: Homer F. Robinson, business manager of The Tribune, and Telegram, second vice president: John D. Giles, of the Giles Advertising agency, secretary, and J. J. O'Connor, of the O'Connor Advertising agency. librarian; executive committee, A. B. Carstenscn of Carstcnsen & Anson Music company. Scott W. Anderson of tho Utah Bill Posting company, C. R. Brazier and Paul Hammer of the Theater Thea-ter Publishing company. It was agreed that fake advertising should he Investigated, and at the weekly week-ly meeting next Friday afternoon this subject will be given special attention. |
