OGDEN, Sopt 3, Tho reports which have been in circulation from other portions por-tions of tho stalo that numbers of dead ducks are being found along tho shores of tho lakes and sloughs, are challongod .by William Mathers, an expert hunter and taxidermist of Plain City. Mathors says that ho has been inspecting the lakes and othor places whero tbb oucks congregate and that he has soen nothing which will credit this report Tomorrow he Avlll follow the course of tho Bear rlvor whero It empties Into Salt Lake to ascertain If any such conditions are found in that section. Ho Is making these investigations in tho interest of tho Wasatch Gun club.
