Show CALL FOR AMERICAN COUNTY CONVENTION The county convention of the American party of Salt Lake county, Utah, and precinct conventions for the several precincts pre-cincts of Salt Lake county are hereby called to meet at the Colonial theater In Salt Lake City on Saturday, September 21, 1910. The county convention will convene con-vene at 10 o'clock a. m. and tho precinct pre-cinct conventions at 11 o'clock a. m. on the above named date. The county convention will place In nomlnatloa a complete county ticket to be voted for at tho general election to bo held on Tuesday, the 8th day of November, No-vember, 1910. Candidates- will bo presented pre-sented for tho following offices: Commissioner, Com-missioner, for the term of four years; commissioner, for the term of two years', clerk, sheriff, treasurer, attorney, recorder, re-corder, assessor, auditor, surveyor, three state senators and ten state representatives. representa-tives. Tho convention will also name a county committee of sixteen members to bo made up as follows: Two mombers from each municipal ward of Salt Laka City and six members from tho county districts outside of Salt Lake City. It will transact such other business as tho law directs and as tho party organization organiza-tion may require. The precinct conventions will place In nomination candidates for the offices of Justice of the peace and constable. The primaries for the election of delegates dele-gates to tho conventions named in thl3 call will be held In the several voting districts of Salt Lake county on Wednesday Wednes-day evening. September 21, 1910, at 8 o'clock. Polls to continue open until 9 o'clock. The perfecting of tho district organizations organiza-tions and tho election of delegates, as herein provided, will constitute the business busi-ness of the district primaries. Tho delegates chosen for the county convention will represent their respective dtstrlcis In the precinct conventions. The basis of representation In the county coun-ty convention shall be ono delegate for each eighteen votes, or major fraction thereof, cast for the Honorable E. B. Crltchlow as candidate for tho office of stalo senator at tho general election for tho year 190S; provided, that each voting district shall bo ontitled to choose at least one delegate.
