classes shall bo under the control of iraids of education composed of ten members each two from each municipal to he elected in jul one from each ward aey year leaving half of alio old board to serve with the elected members they shall be elected the election laws of the territory and alie returns canvassed as in other municipal elections the hoard lias power to elect a superintendent in of schools for tle city to select a bleik not one of their own number and other employed emp loyes necessary in ahe schools the city treasurer is treasurer of alie hoard of education and liis salary for
