Show ; PROVO NEWS NOTES j Special to The Tribune. J'ROVO. May J. Edward Wilkins was called lo Coalville to bo at the ( bedside of his sister, Mrs. Frank Doming, Dom-ing, who died there Sunday last. Mrs. j Doming was born in Provo forty -seven years ago. and leaves numerous relatives rela-tives here. Marriage licenses have been issued to Wiiford Hunt and Annie P. Seale. both of Provo; Ervin Jaspcrsou and Itcbccca Burraston, both of Goshen. Articles of incorporation of the Jesse-Xcbo Jesse-Xcbo Mining company have been tiled with the county clerk. The company is formed to develop a group or seven claims in the Mt. Xcbo mining district. The capital stock is .2o,000 in shares of the par value of 2 cents each. John .. Strong is president: S. 1). Strong, vice president; Levi Phillips, secretary and treasurer, aud these, with John C. Strong and Elias A. Strong, form the directorate. The Tintic Humboldt Mining company has filed articles of incorporation with the conniy elerk. Provo is the principal princi-pal place of business. The capita! stock is $100,000, divided into shares of the par value of 10 cents each. The company com-pany owns eight mining claims in North Tintic district. Thomas F. Pierpont is nrno.lnnt. The annual meeting of the stockholders stockhold-ers of the Brooklyn Consolidated Mining Min-ing company was held here today and the following directors were elected: Jesse Knight, J. William Knight. W. Lester Mangum. V. H. Mcncray and Willjam Sumsion. R. E. Allen is see-votary see-votary of the company. The Brooklyn is an old Tintic property recently acquired ac-quired by the Knight interests. lu the distrit court today the following follow-ing orders were made: Jesse Knight vs. H. F. This is the case which involves the granting of a depot franchise on Sixth "South' street to the Rio Grande "Western Railway company, and which was recently dc-eided dc-eided by the supreme court and sent back to the district court for retrial. A decree was entered today quieting title to Provo real estate in the case of H. R. irvinc, Jr., vs. Moroni L, Bigc-low. Bigc-low. In the estate of William II. Winn, defeased, de-feased, letters of administration were issued to Martha Winn. The fire department was called out. today to-day to a slight blaze in the roof of the residence of A. J. Stewart on Fifth West street. The fire was caused from falling sparks and the damage was normal. nor-mal. Prof. S". H. Goodwin, principal of the Proctor academy here, and general superintendent su-perintendent of the Congregational schools of the state, left for Vernal this evening in the interest of school work.
