Show RAILROADS IKING III SUM RATES Special Pares Announced by Oregon Short Line and Salt Lake Route. Announcement was made from the general passqnger department of the Oregon Short Line, Monday, that special spe-cial rates would bo in effect on certain da3's during the summer months between be-tween this city and eastern points. The dates of. ?ale are Juno 4, y, 11, 12, 36 and 26; July 2. u. 23 and 24; August l.'i and 14; September 10 and 11. The tickets will be good ten days going, with a final return limit of October Oc-tober 31. Stopover privileges will be granted and choice of routes allowed going and returning. The round trip faro to Cheyenne. Denver, Colorado Springs and Pueblo and return will be $22.50; to Omaha, St. Joseph and Kansas Kan-sas City and return, $-10; to Chicago and return, '$55; to St. Louis and return. $49; to St.. Paul and Minneapolis and return, $52; to Peoria and return, $51. Kenneth C. Kerr, district passenger agent of the Salt Lake Route, announced an-nounced Monday that very low rates would be in effect on May 20; June 4, .5. 11, 12, 1G and 26; July 2. 3, 23 and 24, from all Utah points on the Salt Lake railroad to t lie Missouri river, Chicago, St. Louis and other eastern cities. The tickets will have a time limit of October 31 and stopover privileges privi-leges will be granted. Mr. Kerr stated that he was looking for a. heavy movement move-ment from southern points owing to the special rates. 1 |
