William M.eLcod. a miner, was killed in the Golden Prince mine last night, falling nearly 500 feet fo the bottom of the shaft. Two other men -were in the bucket with McLeod. and when they were within a short distance of the lop, the latter was stricken with heart fail-u fail-u ro and dropped. McLeod worked iu CI ah and Montana camps before coming here. II 0 was terribly ter-ribly crushed by tho fall and when picked up. his head was practically severed from his body. Tho body was buried here today.
