OGDEN, Oct. 21, Two hundred members mem-bers of El Knlah temple of Salt Lalco Invaded tho Junction City tonight, bringing bring-ing with them a band of tyros which they ruthlessly loft to tho tender mercies of the assembled nobles, who watched their wrlthlngs as they hot-footed it over the burning sands of the desert. The delegation from Salt Lake was met at the depot by resident nobles of the "El Kalah temple. Headed by two bands, the parade was formed and marched up Twenty-fifth street, north on Washington avenue as far as Twenty-fourth street and counter-marched back to the Masonic temple on the same avenue. All along the line of march varl-colorcd fuses were lighted and the nobles, arrayed In their regalia, presented a striking picture. The streets were brilliantly Illuminated by chains of Incandescent lights strung overhead. over-head. After reaching tho Masonic temple, twenty-seven novices, from all parts of tho stato. were given the initiatory services serv-ices by the Shrmers. This gleeful celebration cele-bration lasted until nearly midnight. Tho nobles then assembled In the brilliantly lighted and handsomely decorated banquet hall of the temple, where a menu prepared pre-pared by the ladies of Queen Esther No. 1, Order of the Eastern Star, was served. Noble R. S. Joyce presided as toast-master toast-master and the following toasts were delivered: de-livered: "Denatured Zem-Zcm," Noble F. J. Dustln, "Moral Uplight As It Applies to Ogden," Noble C. W. Morse; "Assimilated "Assim-ilated Novice," by Novice A. R. May-wood; May-wood; "United States of America," Noble Elmer I. Goshen. In the neighborhood of three hundred Shrinors attended the celebration tonight, representing besides the shrines of this slate" the following: Piute, Nov., Boise, Idaho; Rawllngs, Wyo. ; Milwaukee. Wis.; Toledo, Ohio; Denver, Col.; San Francisco. Cal.; Chicago. 111.; Sioux Falls. S. D.; Leavenworth, Kan.; Rockfort, 3)1.; Omaha, Neb.. Detroit. Mich.: Reno. Nev.; Ely, Nov., and New York City.
