A. champions In the latter"?' gymnasium Saturday night, the final 5Core being 22 to 21 in favor of the students. Tho "Y" bunch wont into the game In a half-hearted sort of way. and even when the first half ended with the score II to 10 against them, they didn't realize that they were up against the real thing. When the "IT" boys got the firBt score In the second half, the association men woke up and played a desperate game. They were met more i than half way, however, and the students won a deserved victory by outplaying their opponents in many departments of the game. The Y. M. C. A. boys were weakened by the loss of big Hofman, who is really the mainstay of the team, an'd who was replaced at center by Grundfor. The "V" men played Coach Milne at forward, for-ward, and so the game cannot stand as a victory for tho school team. Th "Y" boys were In the lead only once during the second half, and that was about two minutes before the call of time. The crowd was In a state of great excitement when Adams threw another basket for tho "U" and won the game, in spite of tho desperate attempts of the Christians to get a winning score. . Adams was tho shining light for the school boys when it came to throwing baskets, and Milne was a close second, while the other boys played in tho best form they have shown this year. For tho Christians, Wilcox was the heavy point-getter. Grundfor played well at center, and Molslngton put up a good game at guard. Tho lineup and score follow: IT. of U. Y. M. C. A.
