Show Mr and Mrs. Felix Fernanz and family returned home Tues-day Tues-day from Santa Fe, New Mexico, relath-es 'y Visiting Joseph Jones returned home Saturday after spending two weeks visiting relatives at Long Leach, California. The Ladies Aid met at the home of Mrs. William Leather-wood Leather-wood Thursday. After a delicious lunch was served the ladies discussed dis-cussed plans for a bazaar which will take piace this fall. Mrs. John Pantalone and family fa-mily visited at Tooele Sunday. Mrs. Jenny Kendall of Long Beach, Cal., has been the guest of Mrs. James Jones and Mrs. Harry McDonald. Donald Allan, who has been recovering in the Bingham hospital hos-pital from an appendectomy returned re-turned to his home at Riverton Tuesday. - . ! Copperfield jj Agnes McDonald John Butler and William Butler, But-ler, former residents, now of Ventura, Cal., have been visiting visit-ing with friends . An exciting adventure is in store for boys and girls of all ages this summer at the school which begins May 31 and ends June 9. Classes will begin at nine o'clock at the Copperfield school auditorium. The program for younger members will include in-clude stories, songs and games. All age groups will join in nature na-ture study. There is also dramatics, drama-tics, crafts, Bible study and worship. wor-ship. All this is under supervision supervis-ion of Miss Frances I. Knerr. The teachers include Mrs. William Wil-liam Leatherwood, Mrs. Meredith Mere-dith Smith, Mrs. Ned Chestnut, Edith Leatherwood, Deon Barret, Margaret Mannion, Willimay McDonald Mc-Donald and Agnes McDonald. Mr. and Mrs. Cache Gray left Saturday for Missouri where they will make their home. James Cunliffe spent a week visiting at the home of his sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Mary Alhin of Riverton. Mrs. Pete Petraca honored her daughter, Dorothy, with a party Wednesday, the occasion being her tenth birthday. The guests attending were Carol Phipps, Beverly Barrett, Mary Bedont, Isabel Rose, Beverly Burke, Dixie Bullock, Dorothy and Frances Fran-ces Pantalone, June Homes. Jane Aven and Cecelia Donley. Games were played and dainty refreshments refresh-ments were served. Mr. and Mrs. GeorRi- Anderson Ander-son and daughter Dons visited in Salt Lake for three days this week. Miss Athena Jimas left Friday j for San Francisco, where she will be a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Kanopis. The Ladies auxiliary met Monday Mon-day evening at the Office building build-ing After the business meeting Fiv Hundred was played. Prizes Priz-es were awarded Mrs. Kay Carl, Mrs. Roy Barnott. Mrs Brancis Quinn and housepme, Mrs. Gilbert Gil-bert Swain. The hostesses were Mrs. Richard Steele, Mrs. Franca Quinn and Mrs. George McDonald. |
