Show Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Mitchell had as their dinner din-ner guests Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Pugh of Salt Lake. Miss Verena Graham left Tuesday Tues-day for Fairview where she will spend the summer vacation. Friday evening Mrs. B. J. San-tistevan San-tistevan was hostess at a bridge party at her home. Tables were arranged for the following guests: Mrs. R. G. Frazier, Mrs. A. A. Macke, Mrs. E. V. Knudsen, Mrs. J. C. Landenberger, Miss Vern Baer, Miss Verena Graham, Mrs. A. E. Mitchell, Miss Mabel Neprud, Mrs. O. S. Jensen, Mrs. T. H. McMullin, Mrs. Lawrence Stillman and Mrs. B. L. Mitchell. Prizes were presented to Mrs. A. E. Mitchell and Mrs. Landenberger. Landen-berger. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Frances Sax and son Larry of Bingham moved into the house vacated by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Brown attended the annual state V.F.W. convention held in Ogden, Friday, Fri-day, Saturday and Sunday. Mr. Brown was elected a councilman in the state organization. Mrs. R. G. Frazier was hostess Thursday to the GGG club. O Friday afternoon the- L. D. S. primary association held its concluding con-cluding meeting of this season in the Grade school auditorium. A program consisting of a number from each class was presented after which ice cream cones and cookies were served to all children child-ren present. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Poulsen and family are spending a few days in Mt. Pleasant where they are the guests of relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Christen-sen Christen-sen and sons returned home Tuesday evening from American Fork, where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Abner Burke. Copperton j DT Mary ltrown Mr. and Mrs. James Denver had as their guests Monday, Mrs. Thomas Randell and Mr. Lester Randell of Eureka and Mr. and i Mrs. George Cannon of Los Ang-1 eles, Cal, Mr. and Mrs. Cannon are former residents of Bingham. Bing-ham. William Laskar of Spring-ville Spring-ville visited Tuesday and Wednesday Wed-nesday at the home of his daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bithell. Wednesday Mr. Laskar Las-kar left by airplane for New York City where he will visit the world's fair. Miss Adiene Hudson was a week end guest of Miss Lurene Nepple Ht Salt Lake City and Ogden. The Misses Jeanne and Mary Frances Frazier who attended school at Wasatch Academy at Mt. Pleasant last year returned to their home Wednesday to spend the summer vacation with their parents. Dr. and Mrs. R. G. Frazier.. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Poulsen and family of Midvale were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Poulsen Sunday. Miss Vern Baer, teacher at the Bingham high school, left Tuesday Tues-day for Salt Lake where she will visit several days prior to joining relatives in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Knudsen and son Jack, Dee Christensen and Jean Christensen spent the week end at Fairview with relatives. rela-tives. Jack remained as the guest of his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Knudsen visited Tuesday evening with Mrs. H. M. Rasmussen in Holla-day. Holla-day. Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Harry Davies and daughter Betty, and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cox, all of Salt Lake, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cox. Thursday evening the Copper-ton Copper-ton Relief society Singing Mothers Moth-ers sang two numbers at a farewell fare-well party honoring Mr. and Mrs. Sandstrom, held in the Ri-verton Ri-verton First Ward chapel. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Iverson expect to leave Monday for a two weeks visit with their children child-ren at San Francisco, Los Angeles Ang-eles and San Diego, Cal. They will also attend the San Francisco Francis-co fair. Bert Watson returned home Wednesday evening from a fishing fish-ing trip to Lake Madison. |
