Show LESSONS CONTAINED IN BULLFROG PIONEER STRIKE The discovery of a large body of high-crado high-crado gold ore In the Pioneer district, within a few miles of transportation and In a spot which has been prospected thoroughly for many years, shows that tho great desert country tributary to Los Angeles' has scarcely been scratched. Tt Is reasonable to supposo that there arc many such properties awaiting tho magic touch of capital and that it will be many years before the last chapter , of the golden story has been written. It is evident, evi-dent, however, that capital is required for such work and It is also evident that Los Angeles must share in the outlay If she would share in the resultant profits of success. Pioneer has been in existence exist-ence for over two months and yet It Is doubtful if more than a handful of representatives rep-resentatives of Los Angeles merchants have made an effort 50 secure a portion of the new camp's trade. The population popula-tion of the town has reached 1000 within that time and the demand for all kinds of supplies Is therefore large. It Is time the merchant of Los Angeles nwoke from his Ttip Van Winkle sleep and realized that the business of the immediate future must be drawn from co-operation with those who are developing the natural resources re-sources of the country.
