At this afternoon's session of the county commissioners, a request for a franchise to build a railroad from, the northern Umlts of tho city through Harrisvlllc. Farr West and on to Plain City, from Lyman Skeen, Joseph A. Taylor and J. M. Child, was discussed and taken under consideration. It is the Intention of the applicants for the franchise fran-chise to grade a road over this route, after which It is said David Eccles and his associates will construct an extension of tne Ogden Rapid Transit company. Most of tne members of the county com-mlssioners com-mlssioners are In favor of the proposition, it is said, but action was deferred so that i a better understanding or tho project can be obtained after an investigation. ' Juvenile Judge V. C Gunnell's petition i for an appropriation to provide a detention deten-tion home for Juvenile delinquents was taken under consideration.
