Show Mr. and Mrs. Parley Marsh of Redwood road announce the birth of a son April 29 at St Mark's hospital. - Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Strelich Jr of 1135 East Fifth South street, Salt Lake City, have announced an-nounced birth of a son April 10. The mother is the former Dorothy Doro-thy Florence Terry and Mr. Strelich Stre-lich is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Strelich of Highland BDr. H. C. Wednesday, May 7, at the Civic Center, with Mrs. LaMont Cosgrove and Mrs. Viola Jackson as hostesses. Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Dowd and Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Carter attended at-tended a Columbia Broadcasting program Saturday evening at South High school, Salt Lake City. , Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Doyle and Mrs. Verl Peterson and daughters, daugh-ters, Verlene .and Cherry, returned re-turned Tuesday evening from Pioche, Nev., where they visited several days with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nichols. A sister of Mrs. Doyle, Mrs. Oscar Mattson of Winnemucca, Nev., was also a visitor in Pioche. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Carter of Dinkey-ville Dinkey-ville April 30 at the family home. Congratulations go to Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Nelson of Carr Fork on the birth of a daughter April 28 at St. Mark's hospital. Mrs. Morris Domeaard and son, Morrie Joe, left last Friday for their home at Grass Valley, Cal., after a month's stay here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Shaw. LOCALNOTES At a noon luncheon Wednesday Wednes-day Mrs. Max Tassainer, formerly former-ly of Bingham, entertained the folowing group at her new home in Murray: Mrs. A. G. Moulton, Mrs. Arthur Peterson, Mrs. Dale Johnston, Mrs. Floy Olson, Mrs. Mernlll Boulton, Mrs. Vern Chapman, Mrs. Bill Rogersaut and Mrs. Mike Error. The KSK club met last Friday evening with Mrs. Carl A. Curtis. Cur-tis. The time was spent sewing, after which dainty refreshments were served Mrs. Archie J. Mrs. McElroy won high score at cards. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Rasmussen were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nell of Midvale Wednesday evening. Ray Tatton and Earl T. James visited last Saturday ' in Logan where they conferred with Fire Chief C. W. Rapp in regards to the No. 1 fire truck pump, which is not giving satisfactory pressure. pres-sure. Mr. Rapp said he was of the opinion that the pump should be exchanged for a rebuilt pump from the factory.
