Show held an all-night party last Friday Fri-day evening at the Community House. They cooked supper, played in the fym and then arranged ar-ranged their beds for the night. Following breakfast the boys, including in-cluding Milan Smilanich, Dino Moretti, Jimmy Nordberg, Glen Ottosen, Refugio Salvador, Kenneth Ken-neth Gleaves and Chano Rubal-cav, Rubal-cav, returned to their homes. Word has been received here that Gerald Larsen of Los Angeles, An-geles, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Dor-mus Dor-mus Larsen of Hidden Treasure mine and formerly of Bingham, uderwent an emergency appen-ectomy appen-ectomy last week in Los Angeles. Angel-es. As soon as he has recovered sufficiently he will go to Las Vegas to meet his parents there, return home with them for a visit. vis-it. Mr. and Mrs. Carl N. Granning and daughter, Virginia, of Highland High-land Boy visited in Salt Lake City Saturday and Sunday. April 24 for luncheon and to - spend the day. Attending were Mrs. Arthur Bentley, Mrs. Edgar Jarrad, Mrs. John Nelson, Mrs. Philip Smith and Mrs. J. T. Davis. Da-vis. Leaving yesterday to spend several weeks in the northwest, Mrs. Theo Chesler will be a guest of her sister, Mrs. L. E. Brain, in Seattle, Wash. Dinner guests Monday evening even-ing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Bnlman were George Bihler and W. S. Jones. Dan Cnulfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Caulfield, writes, that he has been in Anchorage, Alaska, for the past two weeks. He was pleased to find that three other Binghamites, James H. Kirkendall. Nick Bolic and Eli Sasich, are also stationed at Camp Richardson. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley F. Barton Bart-on and daughters, Mens, Kay and Carol, left Monday for Jensen, Jen-sen, Utah, to visit relatives. Cal Huntsman and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Boyles left Wednesday Wednes-day evening for Berkeley, Cal., to join Mrs. Huntsman and children, child-ren, Ronnie and Joan, who have been on the coast several weeks. The party expected to return home in about a week. Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Rogers and small son, Errol Jack, of Needles, Cal., arrived Saturday night to visit two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Alger Baum of Lead Mine and other relatives. Graduating from the Boy Rangers group into the Boy Scouts at Highland Boy Community Commu-nity House Sunday were Milan Smilanich, Kenneth Gleaves, Joe Uzelac, Vincent Miola. Under supervision of their advisor, Miss Marie Button, the Boy Rangers 7 Mrs. S. P. Davies and son, Billy Bil-ly Davies, and Mrs. Rulon Mad-sen Mad-sen visited in southern Utah several sev-eral days last week, returning Friday. Mrs. Davies and son visited vis-ited Mr. and Mrs. Al Tuft in Gunnison and Mrs. Madsen was a guest of her mother in Sterling, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Chad-wick Chad-wick and family of Midway visited vis-ited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Chadwick. The two men are brothers. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Mitchell of Freeman entertained Sunday in honor of Mr. Mitchell's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Bern-ard Mitchell and son of Honolulu, T.H., who are visiting relatives in Utah. Others present for dinner din-ner were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mitchell and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Mitchell and daughter, all of Uluffdale. Bernard Mitchell is in the submarine service. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Boron moved into the store apartments Wednesday. Mrs. Boren resigned resign-ed her position with a Salt Lake ready-to-wear firm April 30. Mr. Boren is assistant manager of the local J. C. Penney store. Mr. . and Mrs. William H. Sparkes and daughters, Helen and La Von Sparkes of Salt Lake City, formerly of Copperton, visited vis-ited Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Stephen G. Rawlings and attended attend-ed the Central school operetta. For the second year Maurine Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Jensen of Copperton, Cop-perton, won the senior high school girls' singles tennis championship, champ-ionship, at the tennis division of Brigham Young university invitation in-vitation meet Saturday. Miss Jensen defeated Betty Hoffman of Davis high 6-2, 6-3 to retain the title for Bingham high school. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Spcnd-love Spcnd-love attended a party given Sunday Sun-day afternoon for Mrs. Spend-love's Spend-love's brother, Porter Jones, of Salt Lake City on his sixtieth birthday. About 60 members of the family were present to greet Mr. Jones. The party was arranged ar-ranged by his wife. Mrs. W. R. Gray and children, child-ren, Billy and Patsy, of Copper-field, Copper-field, left Monday for Fruita, Colo., to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Arbuckle. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Elmer and daughter, Kay, spent last weekend week-end in Spanish Fork visiting relatives. re-latives. H. F. Dunn, manager ot the local Safeway Store, served two days this week as a juror in the United States district court at Salt Lake City.
