A. Greenowald was a member, entertained forty at an elaborately appointed ap-pointed dinner, followed by dancing, at Lagoon Monday evening in honor of Mr. Greenewald and his bride. The guests were seated at one long table, beautifully decorated in sweet peas, with large mounds of them down the center of the table. Covers were laid for. besides tho guests of honor, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Oberndorfer, Mr. and Mrs. Simon Bamberger, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Joseph, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Moritr.. Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Simon, Si-mon, Mr. and Mrs. David "vverthcimcr, Mr.' and Mrs. Louis Simon, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Colin. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Posenbaum. Mr and Mrs. Harry Ganz. Branch entertained twelve at a prettily appointed luncheon at her home Mondav. in honor of Mrs. J. Karn of Indiana and Miss Buckiudorf of Denver. Den-ver. The decorations were in pink and green, with a largo mound of sweet peas and ferns in the center of the table, ta-ble, and pale green ribbon from tho chandelier to tho four corners of the table. Tho place cards were hand-painted hand-painted in sego Hliea, tho State flower. Mrs. Paul Winn and Miss Winn entertained en-tertained twenty-four friends at a tea at their home " Mondaj- afternoon in honor of Miss Virginia Elmer, ouo of tho autumn brides. The rooms were bcautifullv decorated in the season's flowers and plants. Later dainty refreshments re-freshments wore served. The hostesses were assisted by Mrs. McKolla and Miss Rae Elmer. Mr. and Mrs. J. Benson are chaperoning chaperon-ing a party of twelve boys and girls to Brighton for two weeks. Tho party includes Misses Florence Sharp, Alt.a Young. Beth and Selma Olson and Carrie Car-rie Watson and Messrs. Lee Young, Robert Raymer, Stanley and Robert Benson, Clarence Keith and Lcland Met-tenson. Met-tenson. Mrs. Harry B. Napes and her two children, Osmond and Eunice, leavo Thursday for their summer home in in Oregon by the Columbia rivor. They will also make a short trip to Portland Port-land to visit relatives. Mrs. W. J. Barnott accompanied by her mother, Mrs. C. A. Smith, left Monday Mon-day evening for Upper Snake river, where thoy will be joined by Mr. Bar-nctt Bar-nctt and go through Yellowstone park. Mr. and Mrs. James E. Jennings, Mr and Mrs. A. D. Cleavcland. Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Terry and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Glcndinning spent Sunday at Provo, making the trip each way by auto. Mrs. F. D. Bickford, who has boon at- j tending tho summer school at Harvard, will leavo Thursday for a trip on the St. Laurence river, returning hero the last of August. Tho ten young ladies, chaperoned by Mrs. Charles Roolclidge. who have spent two weeks at tho J. R. Walker cottage at Brighton, will return homo Thursday. Thurs-day. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Cohn and the Misses Colin, who are having a most delightful de-lightful trip abroad are now spending several weeks in Munich. Mrs. Terrill and Miss Terrill will leave today to .ioin Dr. Terrill at Wasatch, Wa-satch, Svhere they will spend several days. Mrs. George Ryan will leave Thursday Thurs-day for her home in Tacoma, Nov., after spending a week here, the guest of Miss Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. I. A. Benton loft Monday Mon-day for a short trin to "Denver. I ' Mrs. Dora L. Shclto'n and family of Stockton, Utah, are spending a month with Mrs. Shclton's mother in Spokane. V Mr. and Mrs. A. J.
