At tho regular meeting of the Countv Commissioners today, a petition from S. L. Chipmnn. committeeman of the good roads movement, and 111 others wns presented, pre-sented, asking the Commissioners to levy a one-mill tax on all taxable property in Utnh county for the purpose of making a good road through the county. Tho Commissioners Com-missioners decided that such a lew would not be legal; the petition was therefore laid aside.
