Phillip yeiser, alias Thomas Roberts, yvas today sentenced sen-tenced by Judge Booth in the district court to servo fifteen mouths at hard labor in the state prison Yeisor yvas charged yvith forging the name of J. V. N. Whitccott.on to two cheeks of $10 each, and when arraigned entered a plea of guilty. He is wanted in Reno, Nov., for a similar offense, and it is assorted that ho will be taken back to Nevada at the expiration of his time in tho U'tah penitentiary to stand trial there for forgeiy and ob-taining ob-taining money under falso pretonscs. Frank Wentz was toda3' appointed administrator of the estate of Peter M. Wentz, under bonds of $2750, Caratenseu &. Anson company have begun suit in tho district court against Henry Baruc3' to recover tho possession of a piano or in lieu thereof a judgment for $.100. David M. McDaniol i3 suing John Z. Little and Joseph E. Mo3'le to ouict title to thirty-nino acres of land in sections 19 and 20, township 4 south, range 2 east, Utah county. James Harris, Thomas Tlardy and John Sullivan, charged with burglarizing burglar-izing the residence of William Palmer on Strawberry dny, yvcro arraigned before be-fore Justice Noon todaj and their hearing set for Monday at 10 o'clock. Failing lo give bonds in the sum of $500 each, they yvero remanded to tho custody of the sheriff. |
