Show XEXT DENVER CONGRESS BEING PREPARED FOR SAN FRANCISCO. Oct. 11. The executive execu-tive committee of tho TransmisBlsslppI Commercial congress has decided to hold the next meeting of tho congress, which Is scheduled for Denver. In August, 1900. The committee has elected officers as follows: Chairman Colonel Tito T. Pryor. San Antonio, Tex. Vice-chairman S. F. Dutton, Denver. Secretary Arthur F. Francis. Cripple Creek. Colo. Treasurer James C. Dahlman. Omaha. Congressional committee Fred W. Fleming, Kansas City. Mo.: J. B. Case. Abilene, Kan.; Colonel H. D. Lovcland, San Francisco; Senator E. F. Harris. Galveston, Gal-veston, Tex.; J. D. Phelan. San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Advisory rommittne Arthur R. Brlgga, San Francisco; J, S. Brady. Pocatello, Tda.; W. O. Hart, New Orleans, La.; John Henry Smith. Briggs, San Francisco: Fred W. Fleming, Kansas City, Mo.; John Barrett, Portland. Port-land. Or. Tho last-named committee was given authority to add to Its number as emergency emer-gency requires. It was decided to inaugurate the preliminary pre-liminary work of tho Denver session as Hoon as possible and to this end the stato executive boards will be furnished with stationery and other incidentals at once. To meet the expenses of the executive committee tho secretary was Instructed to commence a vigorous campaign for the enrollment of more permanent members In tho congress. |
