Show I Mr. and Mrs. Roy McGee and son, David, left Monday for a vacation in Los Angeles and Hollywood. Mrs. Zelma Peterson and Mrs. Lavina Peterson spent Wednesday Wednes-day in Ogden with David Peterson, Pe-terson, who underwent an operation opera-tion at an Ogden hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Nielson, Mrs. Horace Seal and Miss June Seal spent Saturday in Mill creek canyon picnicking. Miss Winona Peterson of Salt Lake City spent Monday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Bradford Brad-ford and Miss Alida Thomas of Salt Lake City were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Thomas Sunday. Mrs. Louise Simpson of Mammoth Mam-moth returned home Friday after af-ter two weeks at the home of Mrs. Marie Peterson. Mrs. Harold Draper and family fami-ly spent Thursday in Provo. Mrs. Robert Meyerhoffer is visiting in Chicago at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Jay Gubeler, who recently announced the birth of a son. Mr. and. Mrs. Fred Hatch of Vernal were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hatch. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Clark of Midvale were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dell Nell Thursday. Thurs-day. Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Mrs. Marie Peterson and family fami-ly attended the Jensen reunion at Mt. Nebo in Nephi canyon Sunday. The Just-A-Mere club met at the home of Mrs. Leland Nielson Niel-son Friday evening. Hoine, left Tuesday for the Boise, Idaho, air base, following a 10-day visit home. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Blakely of U. S. Mine entertained Monday Mon-day evening at dinner for Mrs. Blakely's father, W. F. Thompson. Thomp-son. The occasion was Mr. Thompson's Thomp-son's birthday. Frances Pantalone and Adella Salazar were hostesses at a farewell fare-well party for Ila Caldwell Thursday. Guests were Genevieve Gene-vieve Whetsel, Darlcne Stevans, Mary Borich, Helen Golish. Mrs. Harold Airey left for her home in Rensselaer, N.Y., after spending two weeks with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Tyson, and father, Hartley Tyson. Mrs. W. J. Spero Manos, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Manos of Farming-ton, Farming-ton, who has been making his home in Copperfield, left Monday Mon-day to serve in the U. S. navy at San Diego. A delicious luncheon lunch-eon was served. Mrs. Harry Gardikas was taken tak-en to St. Mark's hospital Tuesday Tues-day for an appendectomy. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Caldwell and family moved to Lehi Sunday Sun-day to make their home. Mrs. Mary Borich and family were Salt Lake visitors Tuesday. Mrs. Garth Bieren of Heber is here for a two weeks' visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gardikas. Mrs. Miles McDonald and daughter, dau-ghter, Willimay, and son, Gene, were Salt Lake visitors Tuesday. Miss Pat Cunliffe, who is receiving re-ceiving medical treatment at a Salt Lake hospital, is reported improving nicely. The Ladies auxiliary met at the Union "hall Monday. Nine guests were present and prizes at cards won by Mrs. Agnes Steele, Mrs. Emma Nicholl, Mrs. Paloma Moore and house prize by Mrs. Doris Swain. Hostess was Mrs, LaVern Barnett.
