Wednesday was the highlight of the week's activities when a patriotic assembly was presented pre-sented to an unusually attentive atten-tive studentbody. District At-'orney At-'orney Christian Ronnow was the guest speaker and he acquainted ac-quainted the group with the requirements of good citizenship citizen-ship in a highly informative and interesting talk. The program, pro-gram, was introduced by music from the mixed chorus directed direct-ed by Mr. Kcddinglon, and I Tom Clark, senior class president, presi-dent, and chairman of the Citizenship Citi-zenship committee, was in charge. Citizenship classes jwere in charge of the flag cere money. I A portion of the assembly (which had been long looked for by everyone was the presentation pre-sentation of awards to the 'citizens of the month for De-iccmber, De-iccmber, January, and February. Febru-ary. A new procedure for this was begun at the first of the lycar when a citizen of the iirv.inth was chosen from each of the four classes instead of a boy and a girl from the entire school. Thursday the traveling assembly as-sembly went on the road again jgoing first to Weber where jtiiey gave two performances. IWeber served lunch to the troupe arid then they made a , iquick trip Davis where they performed the progranii in its entirety. Gordon Keddington and Mrs. Jensen accompanied the group. Friday was vacation day for all students in the county and it naturally broke their hearts to have a day off. In the afternoon, they returned to BHS where they held parent teacher consultations consulta-tions all afternoon. Like we said, it broke the hearts of the students! Members of the ski club took advantage of the fine weather Friday plus the fact school was out, to go skiing at Alia. Friday evening was the "big game" of the year which had quite a bit to do with whether or not the Braves could salvage sal-vage a berth in slate competition. compe-tition. The opposing team was Ben Lomond who turned out in all their plaids and sparkling spark-ling entbusiam for the battle.
