Show FATAL AUTO ACCIDENT Prominent Capitalist of Oakland Is Victim Vic-tim of a Oollision. OAKLAND, Cal.. Aug. 7. Carlton Wall, a well known capitalist and clubman and son of the late Gon. Wall, was probably fatally Injured in an automobile accident near Elmhurst this morning. His car, which ho hlmsolf was driving, collided with a milk wagon and he and his companions, com-panions, Thomas Dennigan, Douglas Mc-Brldo Mc-Brldo and George Habernlcht, were all thrown out. There aro said to have been several women In the party, one of whom was hurt. Wall had three ribs broken, right hand mangled, three fingers broken, nose fractured frac-tured nnd his face badly lacoratod. Wall Is now In the Alameda sanitarium in a precarious condition. Tho horso attached to the milk wagon was instantly klllod and the wagon smashed to splinters. Tho Immense touring tour-ing car wns totally wrecked After the accident tho occupants of the car j were driven to Alameda. Wall Is one of the richest men In this county. h. |
