Show CELIA CAZIER DIES SUDDENLY IN 21 Nephi School Teacher Breathes Last From Bnrsted Blood Vessel in Brain. HAD SUFFERED INTENSELY FROM NERVOUS TROUBLES Expires While Being Massaged and Before Physician Could Reach Her. Miss Cclia Cnzlcr, a Nepln schoolteacher, school-teacher, aged twenty-three, died suddenly sud-denly at tho Salt Lake Sanitarium near Wnndiimero park yesterday morning as a result, it is thought, of a blood ves-boI ves-boI breaking in her brain. Miss Cazior had boon suffering for somo timo with norvous trouble, and ten days ago camo to tho sanitarium for treatment, a soason of massage and electrical applications having boon rec- I ommended by Dr. A. S. Kendall, whoso wifo was an aunt of Miss Cazior. Sho complninod a groat deal of pains in her arm and the back of hor nock and at times one of hor hands bocamo numb. Until tho moment of hor death. Miss Cazier was apparently in good health and spirits. She spent most of the time Tuesday with hor aunt, Mrs. Kendall. Ken-dall. visiting Wandamere park and walking through tho grounds. Afterwards After-wards sho, in company with her aunt, went through tho sanitarium building. It was noted particularly at the timo that she was unusually vivnciouB and light-hoarted. Plans for Day. Sho had planned to go to the Lagoon La-goon yesterday afternoon. In the morning she ate a hearty bronkfast and afterwards wont to the room where massage treatment was administered. Tho nurso had workod on Miss Cazior for only about ten minutoa when she suddenly complninod of a pain in tho back of" her head, and collapsod. Tho nurse, thinking it was only a fainting Bpcll, applied simple remedies and summoned Dr. A. C. Gowan, who was in the sanitarium. Ho responded Eromptly, but the j'oung woman had reathed her last before ho could ren-dor ren-dor any assistance. AIiss Cazier was a remarkably bright and capable toacher, and through her gontlo mannors had mado hosts of friends, who will bo shocked to hoar of her untimely death. She received hor early education at Nephi and afterwards af-terwards took a course at tho University Univer-sity of Utah, whore 8ho acquitted herself her-self well. It was stated last evening that no post-mortem examination would be mado. |
