In all some forty lots ei offered The attraction of the sale was the two-year-old Cummock Lad. a colt who won fnnr races, three in succession, during the past season. Bidding was confined during the latter stages to Mr. Potts, the Newmarket New-market veterinary surgeon, and Sir R. W B. Jardlne of Castlemilk, who was present, pres-ent, along with Lord Dalmany. and at J750O the colt was knocked down to Mr. Potts, who was acting in behalf of MaJ Jolcey.
