Howard, a wealthy fire-brick manufacturer who died Intestate April 4, 1W3. Mrs. Iaf-green Iaf-green sued for a widow's share of the estate, es-tate, claiming that she married Howard at Decatur, flL, In 16&3, and that he was then known as Charles Howard, a cIkui-maki cIkui-maki r Mrs Leafgreen's suit was filed May 12, 1905. but did not come to trial until December De-cember last. Aliout two weeks were occupied In the trial and more than sixty witnesses were exiimlned Evlderu wan Introduced to show that tho Howard married to Mrs. I-eafgreen was Thomas Jeffi-rnon Mow ard, now Mayor of Tumwater.
