In the filing of a quit claim (bed to the Japan group of claims Nor. 1. 2 and X, and the Alta mining clilms In the American Ameri-can Fork canyon, some valuable mining property has changed hancta. Messrs M. J. O'Nell and Ah xander Colbath. the original holders, have conveyed this prop-erty prop-erty to the Western Mining company Tin- miners of the Wyoming mine In tin- American Fork canyon returned i" work this morning after spending tlie holidays here. Tlie force at present Is about thirty strong. The ore haulers have been at work during the most part of the holidays, ami as a result there hae been practically no break In the shipments of the mine to tlie smelters Work on the t 'upper King property In the canyon, which Is owrifd hy the Silver Flat Mining and Milling Company of this place han been suspended for the balance of the winter. The miners of the Blue Rork mine, slso located in the canyon, have returned to work. Henry C Johnson, president of the Pacific Pa-cific Mining and Milling company, which own the Blue Rock mine, ha left for Seattle. Wash., where he will mako a short stay. Kd. Illnes the old pioneer canyon miner. Is still working upon the Live Yankee, located near the Blue Rock, and it is his intention to continue during the winter |
