Tho water nought to bo obtained Is from threo springs In Gold Spring gufch In tho Stotulino mining district In Iron county. Tho application calls for four socoiid foot of water, which will be conveyed from tho three sources Into a plpo lino system to tho Jennlo and ether mines In that vicinity. Tho water will be used for milling ores and for culinary and, domestic purposes. Tho waters from theso Hprlngu, It lo stated, nro now soon lost, after leaving their sources. In the desert. Two applications, rather unique In their characters, wcro also filed by tho Tympano-goss Tympano-goss Irrigation company of Holier City. One application calls for tho dlvorslon of StOO aero feot from Shlnglo creek In Summit county and a tributary of tho Weber river into tho Provo river. Tho other application cnlls for 10,000 aero feet from Shlnglo creek at another point and 000 ocro feet from tho cast fork of Beaver creek Into tho Provo river also. It Is stated that the diversion can bo effected through natural and nbandoned channels by meano of dams nnd headgates and thRt tho water will be storod In Utah lake for uso In Irrigating land to tho extent of 13,000 acre3 In township six south of range two cast, which Is In tho valley north of Provo. |
