This particular phase of Elks' day has been carefully arranged, and no ono could havo handed out a better assortment assort-ment of weather for a Saltair day than la now scheduled. Dr. Hyatt was notlllcd yesterday afternoon after-noon that ho was overstepping tho bounds when ho started a llttlo cloudiness, cloud-iness, and ho at onco apologized and submitted sub-mitted to tho schedule which tho Elks had arranged for him. It Is now perfect weather for a Saltair day, and the general public may rest easy In tho fact that the Elks' weather committee will not allow Dr. Hyatt to again interfere with their arrangements. The Water. The wator has been diluted very much for the occasion, and the temperature Is fixed for 87 degrees for this atternoon. It look considerable timo to heat up the entire en-tire lake, but tho committee in charge has succeeded beyond its wildest expectations. ex-pectations. The people selected to manago this affair are J, C. Lcary, Thos. Homer, C. S. Pulver, G. R. Cleavoland, J. H. Mandcrlleld H. P. My ton. Judge Dlehl and W. M. Stivers. The programme will bo continuous vaudeville, and the following artists will appear: Kepler Brothers, Mublcal Wizards, Tho Largest Loop Guitar ever made, Kenyon &. Horner, Blnck Face Comedians. The Pacific Coast Quartet, and many others, Including vocalists and danccre, Tho theater will bo emptied every forty minutes and the committee In chargo will keep tho people going 'and coming.
