Fob. t.A very Interesting meeting meet-ing of tho Ladles' Literary club wna held Thurpday. February 1, at tho homo of Mrs. .1. Stanley Dee, Thero wus a largo attendance attend-ance nnd iho usual routine business wan done. An able paper on the "Venetian School of Art" was given In an excellent manner by Mm. Porter. Mrs. Carr had a wall-written paper on "Italian Art of the Seventeenth Century." Cen-tury." Mrs. Mary Dee followed with a very Interesting article on "Light and Shade." Tilrs. Pypor and Mrs. Porter delighted tho club with Instrumental nnd vocal music. The hostess served delicious refreshments and the club adjourned to meet February 15 with Mrs. IJamor at 611 Twenty-third otroct. Mrs. Py-per Py-per and Mrs. F. Y. Stanford were the guests Of tho afternoon. |
