Show FINNISH RELIEF DRIVE GOES OVER BIG IN BINGHAM According to Burton Musser, state chairman of the Finnish Relief fund, the contribution from Bingham district was the largest per capita of any community in the state, Mayor Ed Johnson said last night. Final totals as compiled by Mayor May-or Johnson, chairman, and Mrs. Harley English, treasurer, were: U. S. Mines, Bingham, $333.25; Utah Copper company, $161.25; U. S. Mines, Lark, $149.70; Gemmell Gem-mell club, $15; Bingham business district, $73.15; lodges and organizations, or-ganizations, $29.50; Bingham district dis-trict school teachers, $12; miscellaneous, mis-cellaneous, $6.75; Total $771.60. Expenses were for telephone calls, buttons, etc., $20.25, leaving leav-ing a balance of $751.35. |
