Show Lark Notes r The marriage of Miss Erma Oberg of MayfieH, Utah, and George Nicholson of Lark took place at the bride's home June 14. The couple will make their home in Lark. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Peterson I arrived home Monday from Las Vegas, Nev., after a visit of several sev-eral days. June Overson, brother of William Wil-liam Overson, returned to his home in Elko, Nev., after spending spend-ing several days in Lark. Mrs. Earl Bigler entertained at a birthday party in honor of her daughter, Jane, who was 12 years old Monday. 19 guests enjoyed games and refreshments. Prizes went to Blaine Peterson, Carol Crump and Janine Yates. Mrs. Dan Peterson is a guest of her sister, Mrs. Leonard Leek of Centerville, Utah. Mrs. Mary Prowse and sons returned to their home in Lark after spending the winter in Mid-vale Mid-vale and Salt Lake City. Mrs. Millie Wykert was a dinner din-ner guest Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. V. Fors-nes Fors-nes of Bingham. Mrs. E. W. Gleason entertained entertain-ed at a fimily dinner in honor of her son, Jay, on his twentieth birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Max M. DuBois and daughter, Ann, and Mr. and Mrs. Elliott W. Evans and dau ghters, Claudia and Susan, fished fish-ed at Charleston Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Thomas a J daughter, Miss Alida Thomas spent Sunday at Charleston and Park City. Mrs. Theron Halliday entertained enter-tained at a miscellaneous shower Thursday evening for Miss Maureen Mau-reen Bo'dell of Herriman. whose marriage will take place on June 27. A one o'clock luncheon, with Mrs. Clarence Ball as hostess, was given in honor of Mrs De-vere De-vere Coombs, Mrs. Thomas Block- j ovich and Mrs. Floyd Reed. The afternoon was spent playing five hundred. I A program was given Sunday ; at the LDS church, marking Father's day. Each father present pres-ent received a carnation. I Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gressman and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Gressman Gress-man returned Wednesday from Milford, Utah, where they were; called by the severe illness of j the mother of the Gressman brothers. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Thomas entertained en-tertained at dinner Saturday in honor of Mrs. Tim Riley and family, Miss Ann Curtain, Miss Alida Thomas and Mr. and Mrs. F. K. Potter, all of Salt Lake City. Last evening Mr. and Mrs. Thomas had as dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gleason, Mr. and Mrs. Benton Boyd and Mr. and Mrs. James McDonald at a six-thirty dinner. |
