Show VOLUNTARY SLAVERY EXISTS IN SIBERIA ST. PETERSBURG, Aug. 11 A trial for murder at Tchlta. has established the fact that voluntary slavery exists in many districts of eastern Siberia. A gold prospector named Glagoleft was charged with the murder of his servant, ser-vant, Ilinsky. His defense was that the servant had robbed him and that he had a right to shoot him. as ho had bought him at a local slave market. GlagolefT produced witnesses who swore that this was true.
