Show SKULL FRACTURED BY AUTOMOBILE Cliff Anderson Is Strnck ny Gar of Leslie L,. Savage. Cliff Anderson of 313 West Fifth North strcot, a carpenter, is lying at the L. D. S. hospital iu an alarming condition from injuries received in an automobile accident at E and South Temple streets at noon Saturday. Anderson, An-derson, on a bicycle, was struck by Leslie L. Savace's automobile, No. 260, thrown from his wheel and rendored unconscious, un-conscious, in which state he remained for hours. No bones were broken iu the f.all and Saturday night he was not thought be internally injured, but his condition was pronounced extremolv critical and he may die. The chief injury in-jury appears to be a bruise at the side of the head. The skull is fractured and thoro is concussion of tho brain Dr. Ralph T. Richards is attending Anderson. An-derson. The automobile, occupied by Mrs. Savage and the chauffeur, was cominc down East South Temple street. Anderson An-derson and a wagon approached the automobile from the west. In tho meeting of the vehicles Anderson dropped behind the wagon and swerved to tho left, in front of tho automobile, which struck him. The occupants of the machine stopped aud rondered what assistance as-sistance to Auderson they could. No blame attaches to tho chaiiiTcur for the accident. Although' Anderson remained unconscious uncon-scious for so long a timo his breathing was regular and his pulse good. This is the second accident Mr. Savage Sav-age s automobile has been in withiu the last two weeks. Twelve or fourteen four-teen days ago Mr. Savage drove tho machine into a galvanized wire across the road at the O. S. L. depot. He aud Mrs. Savage, who were on the lront seat, were dragged back into the tonneau and severely bruisod.
